I asked for a quiet room and was pleased to get one. It was comfortable, with a kettle and mini fridge, plenty of hot water for both shower and bath, and enough power points. The hotel is well located, under ten minutes from the lifts and right in the town centre. I was there with The Skigathering, and our group meals were in a separate dining area shared with other large groups. It got so noisy at dinner that conversation was difficult. Breakfast was good, with eggs and omelettes made to order. The four course dinners varied in quality, though I appreciated that the hotel catered for me as a vegetarian. The staff worked hard and did their best for us.

Room 305 was lovely, with a really large en-suite, and there was a good ski locker downstairs. The small sauna and steam room were lovely too. We were well looked after as part of The Ski Gathering. Breakfast had a nice choice of cold food, crisp hot bacon and scrambled eggs, with omelettes if you wanted one. Dinner was five courses, so there was plenty to eat. The ski lift and bus station are about a five minute walk away.

Last week’s Hotel Heitzmann trip with The Ski Gathering was one of my best ski holidays. The great hotel experience came together with lovely companions, good weather and days skiing together. Thanks to everyone at Hotel Heitzmann and The Ski Gathering.

We had a brilliant week here. The staff started things off by upgrading our room, which was great, and the view from the top floor was lovely, with mountains all around. The food was amazing every night, and the staff were absolutely brilliant. We’ll definitely return next year!
