Gästehaus Hosp

What a view of the Alps from this guest house! :)

We felt right at home at the Hosp guesthouse. The rooms aren't especially soundproof, though it didn't bother us, and they're adequate. We got a lovely warm welcome and farewell during our two-night stay. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared each morning. Best regards from the Wielau family :-) We'd happily recommend it.

We were lucky to have dry weather, so we could make the most of the outdoors. There are hikes right from the guesthouse, and a little balcony with lovely mountain views. The area is beautiful and easy to drive around, with simple hiking trails, a natural swimming pool, and an outdoor pool with recreational facilities nearby. Shops aren't walkable, though larger towns are about 10-15 km away. The cabins are on the third floor, so expect lots of stairs. Inside, the space is very tight for two adults and two children, and the shower and toilet are tiny. There's a very small kitchen in the sleeping area, with only the essentials. For a few nights it's fine, but staying crammed together for three weeks would be too much. In this case, I'd rather pay a bit more for a campsite.

The location is a little out of the way, but really nice, and the owners were friendly and very accommodating. We slept well in the great beds, and the balcony and view were lovely. The bathroom was small, and there wasn't any shower gel or shampoo, but the room still deserves 5/5 stars 🥰. After checkout, they immediately noticed we'd left something behind and brought it to us, which was great. Payment has to be in cash, though a real-time bank transfer is also possible. All in all, a really good stay, recommended! ;)
