We’re grateful the owners opened the kitchen for us when we were the only diners there. We stopped for lunch on our drive home, and they were so friendly and made us a lovely meal. The Kaiserschmarrn was amazing, as were the mixed grill and käsespätzle. They even made excellent takeaway coffee in our own cup.

We were only passing through and stayed one night, but the clean, quiet rooms made it a comfortable stop near the highway. The hosts have been running the business for about 34 years and were kind, making us feel welcome even with a child. I really appreciate places that provide for themselves, and this one does: local meats, herbs from their garden, homemade honey and jam at breakfast, and a little schnapps 😜

The room was warm, clean, and spacious, with a small but adequate bathroom. We stopped while travelling and the hotel looked closed at first, but the owners came out and were very helpful. They made us a tasty dinner, and the homemade apple cake was very good. Breakfast was good too.

We had a lovely time in the garden with good beer, and the staff and owners treated us very nicely. The food was good too. They let us park our motorcycles inside, so we could relax without worrying about them. I recommend it.

The owners were very welcoming, and our room was spacious and very clean. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, including the food and drinks.
