Getting around from Wallern was easy by bike, with towns across the Seewinkel region and places around Lake Neusiedl and Lake Zicksee within reach. Even Hungary isn't far away. We came for just one night, booked at short notice, and arrived by train with our bikes. Wallern/Burgenland station is right across the road from the guesthouse, yet the garden-facing rooms were very quiet. There was lots of room for our sportswear and evening clothes, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a toilet. Breakfast was nicely laid out, and we could eat indoors or outside. A good spot for cyclists, nature lovers, and families.

The house wine was great, and the people were very nice. Our bed did creak whenever we moved, unfortunately. We did have air conditioning and a huge accessible bathroom, though.

The breakfast spread was generous and tasty, and the rooms were kept spotless. The staff were always polite and greeted us with a smile. I felt at home straight away in the garden. We'd love to return.
