The weekday lunch menu is good every time and fairly priced. It's a family-run place with traditional Austrian and Styrian cooking, and it welcomes both families and dogs. Booking ahead is a good idea.

The family tavern has a really nice atmosphere, and its roots go back to the 1950s. We had a great meal, with local dishes that were high quality and well served. The desserts and wine were good too. It feels very Styrian.

We only had one night here, though the place made us wish we'd booked four or five days to explore. It's quiet, and the clean rooms are cozy and pleasant. Staff were very friendly, and check-in and checkout were easy. We couldn't make it to the included breakfast, unfortunately. Highly recommend.
