Landhaus Karwendel

I felt right at home in this lovely, cozy country house. The apartments are beautiful, and the setting is quiet with a lovely view. Highly recommended.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would love to return. We spent 10 days in Pertisau with our dog, and the country house was wonderfully quiet, with views over Lake Achensee and the mountains. The room was charmingly furnished, the breakfast had everything we could want, and the landlady and staff were incredibly friendly. I can highly recommend the guesthouse.

We could set off hiking straight from the house, with lots of routes to choose from, and there was plenty of parking. The bread delivery was great too, with rolls brought right to the door. Our week in Pertisau with the dogs was wonderful. The apartment was a good size and very comfortable, with a lovely eat-in kitchen, seating area, sofa, and tiled stove. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of dishes. I did miss a frying pan, though I’m sure they could have provided one if I’d asked, and a beer glass 😅. The bathroom was quite new and modern. It was handy having a separate toilet, but there was no sink in it.

This was our second stay, and we’ll definitely come back. The guesthouse is in a quiet spot in the second row right by Lake Achensee, while still being central. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Pertisau boat landing, beach, and lido. Parking at the house is free, and the spacious rooms have balconies. Breakfast is buffet style, with eggs cooked fresh for each guest.
