Hotel Traube Pfunds

The staff were friendly and professional, and the village is a lovely place to spend time, with plenty to do for families or without kids. It’s quiet, but supermarkets, a gas station, restaurants and shops are nearby. A bridge gives access to the riverbank for walking or biking in about three minutes. We stayed five nights with half board and a baby, and the hotel made things easy with a free crib, a room with a bathtub, and a restaurant high chair. Our charming, spotless room was comfortable and kept its traditional Alpine feel. Dinner always offered two meat dishes, one fish dish and one vegetarian dish, and the food was really good. The pool is heated, though the weather during our stay wasn’t great, so we didn’t get much use out of it. There’s free parking, a playroom, a playground, saunas, and a bike and ski room. My five stars are really ten. We’d love to come back.

We spent our winter holiday here and were very happy with the friendly staff, who were always ready to help. The comfortable rooms were spotless, and the spa with its outdoor pool made for a pleasant place to relax. The dinners were the real highlight: carefully prepared, full of flavor, and good enough to rival meals at restaurants aiming for the highest quality. Hotel Traube deserves top marks across the board. Thanks to the whole Traube team for a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back!

They handled our group of 18 with ease, and the hotel is in a lovely little town with several restaurants to choose from. It’s beautiful and clearly had only recently opened. The spa area wasn’t open yet, but what we could see was stunning. The gym was fully equipped, with much more than most hotels offer, and breakfast was a wonderful spread.

The rooms and food were great, and the sauna was spacious, clean and had amazing amenities. It looks like they’ve recently upgraded both the sauna and the lounge. Nice to see a hotel keeping up with the times while still holding on to traditional touches.
