Pension Schmidt

We were two adults traveling with a campervan and booked a double room at short notice because the forecast called for rain, storms, and cold weather. We planned on three nights, then stayed one more. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and let us park the campervan in the courtyard. Our bikes went in the bike garage, which had charging sockets. The room was spotless, with lots of shelves and storage, a comfortable mattress, and a balcony. Breakfast was fantastic. The location worked perfectly for us too, with the lighthouse about a five-minute walk away, wine cellars, pubs, and restaurants easy to reach on foot, and plenty of bike paths nearby. Thanks for a lovely stay. Highly recommended!

The location is great, the place was clean, and breakfast was really good. But the stay left us feeling unwelcome as a large group, so we're unlikely to book again. We also didn't like that children were charged the full price and assigned balcony rooms, which cost more, while smokers were given rooms without balconies. There's room to improve that. And it was a shame we couldn't sit in the common room past 11 p.m.

We felt really at home here and will definitely return. The young hostess and her family were warm, attentive, and welcoming. The terrace and garden, with all the oleander bushes and flowers, were lovely places to sit and linger. Our room had a spacious bathroom and air conditioning, and we slept very well. Breakfast was a feast, with fresh fruit, crisp pastries, and plenty of tasty sausages, ham, and cheeses. A top-notch place, absolutely recommended. One tip from us: booking directly costs less than using a booking platform.

We had a spotless room with air conditioning and a bathtub. The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating, and breakfast really had everything we could want. A beautiful, very clean place, and we'll definitely make it our regular stay in Podersdorf.
