I was seriously ill with a 39-40°C fever and in hospital just days before our trip, so we couldn't go ahead with the stay I'd been looking forward to. I explained what happened, sent medical documents, and said I'd accept a voucher or credit for a future visit. The hotel staff showed no flexibility or empathy. They kept replying in a robotic way that medical issues weren't their responsibility and that I should check with my insurance. That response was deeply disappointing and felt inhumane. Hospitality should include compassion and care, especially during a medical emergency. This place came across like a cold corporate machine, not a welcoming accommodation. I'd urge others to think about whether they want to support a business that treats guests this way. There are plenty of kind, flexible hotels out there. This isn't one of them.

The staff were mega friendly and super sweet. They left a welcome note in the bedroom and a great [unclear] on the breakfast table. The hotel was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was quite good with a variety of options, though it would be nice to have more vegan food. They're dog friendly too.

The food and wine were excellent, and Zoltan the waiter and Gerhard the chef did a great job. Our room was spacious and clean, with a small terrace, and there was a storage room for bicycles. We felt very comfortable here. Ask for the Neusiedler card.
