Frühstückspension Barbara

Parking a few meters away was really handy, and the breakfast was delicious. Stefan was incredibly friendly and ready to help with any request. We had a very pleasant stay at this B&B, which was clean and comfortable, right in the city center. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Haus Barbara for one night while cycling the Danube, and Stefan warmly welcomed us and showed us to a secure, lockable room for our bicycles. The room was light, spacious, comfortable, and looked over the garden. Since the house is right in the town center, everything in the small center is easy to reach on foot. Breakfast was superb: cereals, fresh strawberries and blueberries, several yoghurts, meats, cheese, spreads, lots of breads, and delicious homemade banana bread. Wow, I highly recommend staying here.

Stefan was very accommodating when we arrived outside regular hours, and I’d definitely come back. It’s a lovely place with a friendly owner. We stayed one night and it was fine. Family rooms are available too.

I appreciated how kind, polite, and thoughtful the owner was, right down to the little details. I’m vegan and asked him in the evening whether he had a plant-based drink for breakfast. He said no, but by morning there was a generous, varied breakfast waiting, including soy drink. There were also fruit juices and cereal bars to welcome everyone. The place was very clean and well furnished. Thanks again.
