Breakfast was fine, though nothing special, and on Sunday they were already clearing it away from 10:25, so you'd better be quick. The rooms themselves are nice, but the lake isn't directly in view. Mostly you see the parking area, with the lake off to the right if you stretch your neck. The Hotel Restaurant, not the boathouse, was a huge letdown. The food was among the worst we've had at a 4-star hotel in a very long time. We could hardly believe there was a real cook in the kitchen. The wine list was awful too, with barely any choice and not one wine worth having. Prices were 45+€, even for wines you can get very cheaply at a supermarket.

The Kids Club was a real highlight for our family. Our little ones had fun and were well looked after, which gave my partner and me time to enjoy the rejuvenating spa. New Year's was full of joy and festivity, and the whole week at Werzer’s Hotel in Austria left us with lovely memories. The staff were warm from the moment we arrived and went out of their way to get the details right. Since I only speak English, I really appreciated how happy they were to translate, make recommendations, and chat with me in English. Our cozy rooms felt like home, and we loved the food. Werzer’s Hotel exceeded our expectations. I can't recommend it enough for couples, families, or anyone who, like me, isn't great at speaking German.

The rooms, location, parking, and hotel equipment were all fine. I didn't pay for the accommodation, so I can't judge whether the price matched the quality. The only small issue was the cleaners waking me every day while working in the corridor.

We picked the wonderful badhaus by the lake for our wedding. The location and food there were excellent, and the hotel had a brilliant wedding manager on site. Superb service throughout. A highly recommended choice if you're looking for an exciting wedding venue abroad.
