The owner was very kind and went out of his way to help us. We ran into him in the forest late at night after we needed a place to stay, and he drove us and our bikes to the Pension, showed us our room, and served dinner and drinks. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options to choose from. The mountains and hills looked beautiful, and the city centre is close by.

The one issue was the worn mattress in my single room. Aside from that, the room was clean and quiet, with a stunning view of Klosterwappen. Breakfast was excellent, and the atmosphere was calm and serene. A beautiful classic hotel, and a stay I’d highly recommend.

For a trip to Schneeberg, whether hiking or doing winter sports, this is a great place to stay. The rooms are warm and cozy, and mine was clean, with a balcony looking out toward the mountain. Breakfast was filling and healthy, too.

I really loved staying here. The facilities may be a little dated, and we couldn't find any Wi-Fi, but for a night or two you don't really need it. It's such a quiet, peaceful place, and the staff are kind and welcoming. I hope I get to visit again one day.
