The goose was the highlight. Their daily special was home-farmed, and the leg came with red cabbage and a dumpling. It was tender, fresh, and properly meaty, with none of that odd taste near the bone you can sometimes get. I started with a rich goose soup, full of meat and butter, with a lovely dumpling in it. The woman serving us was warm, quick, friendly, and always smiling. Absolutely amazing hospitality. I’ll be back with my family! 🤩

We spent two nights here with our two children, aged 1 and 3.5. The staff were kind and flexible with the kids. Our room was clean, cozy, and had all the essentials. We also really liked the restaurant food and atmosphere.

After our trip up the mountain, we stopped here to eat. The host and staff were great, and the homemade food was really good.

Breakfast was homemade and tasty, and we felt right at home in this clean, welcoming place with its own friendly character. When we wanted to rent a bike, the host even lent us his. One drawback: mornings were a bit noisy when we hoped to sleep in after a late night. You also get a 5€/person discount on Salamander train tickets.
