Built in the 16th century, this old house once served as lodging for the bishop’s tax collector. It was renovated in 2012 and now has two traditional mountain apartments for short stays, furnished with period pieces. There’s a garden and private parking, with a ski lift and cross-country trail right next door. Walks and hikes are available in the surrounding area.

The garden seating area was lovely in the evenings, especially sitting outside with the children. There was plenty of room for two adults and two kids, and everything was very clean and cozy. The staff were friendly and dependable. We had a wonderful stay at the Mesner Klause and will definitely return.
