The staff made our stay especially easy, answering questions, speaking several languages, and sharing useful ideas for things to see nearby. We also loved the breakfast, with lots of fresh, quality choices, especially the Austrian butter. Haus Kärnten Döbriach hotel was spotless throughout, from our room to the shared spaces, and we felt welcome the whole time. It’s well placed for visiting Millstatt Lake and taking trips to Italy or Salzburg. The stay was comfortable, and we’d gladly come back.

We felt right at home at Haus Kärnten, thanks in large part to the kind hosts, who were always ready with tips for sights, hikes, and swimming spots. It’s a peaceful spot, with Lake Millstätter See, shops, and restaurants all within walking distance, and lovely Carinthian scenery around you. The house is cozy and very well cared for. Our bright, spacious room had what we needed, and everything was exceptionally clean. It would suit families, couples, or anyone wanting a quiet break with outdoor activities nearby. We’d be glad to stay again and recommend it.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. Our room at Haus Kärnten was comfortable, spotless, and well looked after. It’s in a quiet spot, but still close to the center and beautiful Millstätter See. We had a lovely stay and would happily recommend it and return.

Breakfast was just average. The accommodation itself was fairly pleasant, but my single room was very noisy. The bed was tiny and far too soft for a comfortable night, and the bathroom lighting was poor.

We had such a good time at Haus Kärnten. The rooms were perfectly clean, breakfast was delicious, and the owners were lovely. There are lots of young, dedicated staff around, and they speak several languages. Thanks, Yolina and family, we’ll definitely be back! ❤️🙏
