Appartementhaus Winter

For winter, this is honestly a great choice if you're looking for an apartment. Ours had a living room with a kitchen, two bedrooms with three beds, and the usual bathroom. We had a nearly flawless stay, with just a few small issues. There was more than expected: a huge balcony that could be opened and closed, a sauna we didn't use, and a ski room. The large dishwasher was appreciated, too. Highly recommended. A couple of things could be better. Recycling is good, but there wasn't enough room to throw rubbish into the bin, so bigger bins would help. There were plenty of knives, but I'm used to sharp ones, so I'd rather have fewer that are sharper. The door also had to be pushed in to lock.

The landlord was very accessible, and the location is great. There are excellent rooms and beds, plus a sauna, gym, washing machine, and dryer. The sport center next door has tennis and mini golf. The downside is that the place isn't accessible for people with disabilities.

We're not skiers, so we get around on foot and explore the surrounding area by car. Radstadt is pretty quiet in winter, with just one shopping street and too many closed shops. If you want to ride the ski lift up to the mountain pasture as a pedestrian, it's €23.50 per person. We couldn't visit the salt mine in Hallstatt because it was closed. Still, we were actually quite happy about that, as entrance for the two of us would have been €80!!! To keep the theme going, we've never had food this salty.

Our trip was definitely better because we stayed here.
