We spent five very pleasant days here for our Stoneman mountainbike adventure. The rooms were spacious and nice, with daily cleaning, and the location right by the golfcourt would work well for golfers too. The staff really made the difference. They were amazingly friendly and focused on service, and they got all those little things right.

We've stayed at Hotel Junger Roemer five times now, and keep coming back. You walk straight out of the hotel and onto the ski runs in ski amade. The rooms are comfortable, with awesome views across the steiermark landscape, good heating and bathrooms where everything works. The whole place is extremely clean, and the interior and decorations feel carefully chosen to a high standard. Breakfast and the afternoon snack are plentiful and delicious, and dinner is Michelin five star!. There's a swimming pool open nonstop, plus sauna and massage available into the evening. The staff are very pleasant, polite and helpful. Over the past seven years, nothing has changed, and everything still runs at the same high level. Congratulations to the owner. We'll definitely be back again and again.

The food and staff deserve five stars. The dinners were delicious and sometimes creative, with a meat, fish or veggie option every time. Breakfast had good coffee, and you could make your own fresh carrot and apple juice. The afternoon cakes were yummy, too. The rest let it down for me. The interior and facilities feel outdated, the elevator doesn't reach the third floor, which is a pain with ski baggage, and the pool is small. The saunas are tiny and there aren't enough chairs in the wellness area.

We had a room with a great view over the mountains and the golf site. There’s a small bar down by the golf course where you can sit and watch players on the last hole, but check its opening schedule first. Bikes and e-bikes are available to rent, and the area works well for sports, including the Taurista route and running nearby. Other restaurants and hotels are close enough to go somewhere else for a drink. The hotel isn't new, but it's clean and well cared for. I like the vintage feel and that it keeps its origins. Our room looked a bit dated, though the location, food and kind service made for a nice stay. Breakfast was a good quality buffet, with eggs and bacon available to order, and you could eat outside on the terrace. Dinner was served at the table and there was a wide choice of drinks. The pool and spa area was a little small, but clean, and we always found an outdoor chair without a space problem.
