We've already booked another stay and are looking forward to July, with the mountains, the peace and quiet, hiking with views of the Dachstein, and the Apathotel to enjoy again. We spent a wonderful week there last May. The rooms were comfortably furnished, and the staff, including the owner, were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and really good, with everything you could wish for.

The Aparthotel Ramsau and the Steiner family are easy to recommend. We felt welcome right away, and the rooms were modern and clean. Service was impeccable, and the generous breakfast buffet had everything we could want.

It wasn't what I expected, unfortunately. The so-called Hotel Handelstages feels more like a bed and breakfast. Dogs don't seem very welcome, and there isn't a kitchen, just an arrangement with another hotel. At reception, the chambermaid greets you, while the orientation is done on an iPad. Special guests get champagne. When I was sick and stuck in my room for a week, nobody cared. Getting the bed linen changed took a lot of discussion, and even then it was only about 10 days in advance. The price for what you get makes no sense to me. Absolutely not recommended. Never again!

The owners are especially friendly and always have time for a nice chat. The hotel is in Ramsau at the foot of the Dachstein mountains, and the rooms are cozy and perfectly adequate. Everything is clean and well looked after. Breakfast is fresh, varied, and plentiful. Highly recommended.

We've been coming here for many years, and the service is always friendly and attentive, well beyond what you'd normally expect. The location could hardly be better. The rooms are spacious and clean, and our two apartments worked perfectly for six adults and four children. The breakfast buffet has everything you could want. Another nice extra is the free Dachstein Summer Card for every registered guest, which gives free use of the nearby mountain lifts, leisure pools, public transport, and more.
