Right beside the Ramsau cross-country ski trails, with loads of amenities, a pool, and several saunas, including one with a panoramic view. The food was excellent and the rooms were great. It's a family-run hotel managed with so much care that you can really see it everywhere. I'd stayed here before, and this visit was fabulous too.

We had a very nice stay. The hotel's clear-water pond nearby was lovely for water activities with our dog, and the Dachstein mountain range views were beautiful. It's a dog-friendly place, with large, comfortable rooms that were always spotless and well serviced. The owner family is closely involved day to day, and the service is very friendly. Dinner was well prepared and presented, with meat, fish, and vegetarian options. At breakfast, I loved the fresh local products, bread selection, and juice bar. The fried eggs, though, were made ahead and kept warm in a chafing dish, so that could be improved. The Wi-Fi is pretty weak, and the pillows aren't very comfortable. Everything else was perfect.

The hotel makes it easy to get around Ramsau, and they arranged our trip to 5 Fingers for free. We were welcomed very warmly, and our room was large and clean. Breakfast and dinner had varied menus, good food, and something to choose for everyone. The wellness area was relaxing, especially the beautiful outdoor natural pool. The indoor pool is small and pretty standard, but clean. Overall, the wellness facilities are quite good.

We arrived at lunchtime, but the kitchen only opens at 17:00. Is it called the Berghof lounge "genuss"? I don't understand the name. A four-star rating has to be earned, and this isn't a four-star hotel. It's in the middle of nowhere, too.
