I hardly ever leave reviews, but Family Stoffenbauer really deserves one. The food was delicious, much of it made with homegrown ingredients, and most of the meat came from their own animals. It felt great to eat homegrown organic specialties instead of mass-produced meat. The family is so kind. She brings breakfast with a smile and makes sure you have what you need, then welcomes you back after a long day hiking. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, and they took care of my feather pillow allergy too. The house is wonderfully quiet at the end of the road, a perfect spot to rest and get away from everyday stress. We'll be back. Thank you Fam. Stoffenbauer.

Our room had plenty of space and a lovely view toward the mountains, and the staff were very nice. The amenities could be better, though. There wasn't any soap or shampoo in our room, for example.

A lovely quiet escape in the Austrian Dachstein mountain region. The hospitality, food, views, and location were all amazing.

The cozy interior and great food made this a really nice stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was amazing, and the sauna and pingpong were great too.
