We always stop by on vacation, especially for the carrot cake, which we order every time. The salads are great too, and there’s a good selection of tea, olive oil, sardines, wine, and sweets in the shop inside. It’s a vegetarian restaurant, café, and ice cream place all in one.

I used to recommend this place all the time and spent a lot of money here over more than six years. I won't be doing that anymore. It has become too noisy since the tables were rearranged without sound barriers. The staff seem more stressed, and four of my six requests were handled incorrectly. Prices are now higher than in Vienna’s 1st District, and waits have got longer. The vegan food and cakes are still good, though. I’ll look for somewhere else nearby.

There’s a lovely view of Dachstein from this café, but the €5 coffee was a letdown. It tasted very bitter, with no acidity, and didn’t feel like specialty coffee. Filter coffee would be a welcome option too.

There’s a small shop inside with local treats, and the menu is pretty interesting. If vegetarian or vegan food appeals to you, you should be happy here.
