Sonneck Ramsau im Zillertal

For a group holiday, the place was fine. We were six adults and six children. The dining area is roomy and comfortable, and the beds were comfortable too. The rooms were okay, though they had no trash cans. Each room has a sink. There are two toilets and a shower in the hallway, plus a separate bathroom without a toilet; one room also has its own shower. The kitchen is new but cramped, and the fridge feels too small for an apartment this size. The ski bus stop is 100 meters away on foot, and the lift with free parking is a five-minute drive.

We spent a week with Maria as four couples, and all eight of us were completely satisfied. The apartment is quiet and well placed, with everyday essentials only a few minutes away by car, and fresh bread can be delivered in the morning. Its layout worked especially well for us: roomy lockable double rooms with washbasins, safes, and balcony access, plus three showers and three toilets, some separate. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, and sits beside a lovely conservatory with a huge dining table, away from the bedrooms so mornings and evenings stayed peaceful. There are generous balconies on both levels, with loungers and chairs and views of the mountains. The apartment was spacious, exceptionally clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Thanks so much for everything, we'll definitely come back and recommend it wholeheartedly. :)

The view is great and the house itself is beautiful, but I wouldn't stay here again. We couldn't get the bread delivery service, the internet wasn't working, and the grill was broken. Hospitality also fell short, with some sharp words exchanged when we left. Such a shame.

We weren't greeted warmly at all, and this place doesn't suit a youth trip. I can't recommend it.
