The one thing I liked about the hotel and our room was how well soundproofed it was. I didn't hear a single train. Otherwise, I can't see this as a four-star hotel. The price was among the highest I've paid for a single night. I couldn't get into the hotel at first. A notice on the door said my room cards were in an envelope at reception, but I couldn't get inside. I had booked a large double bed because I was travelling with my girlfriend, but the beds were separate. We could push them together, though there was a gap at night, so we ended up sleeping in just one bed. The bathroom had some gel, but don't expect shampoo or body gel like at other hotels. There was definitely no soap or hand gel by the mirror. Then, at 8:30 a.m., an employee walked into our room and left straight away. They should know which rooms are occupied. If I hadn't stayed in hotels in other countries, I might have believed this was four stars. For me, it deserves no more than 2-3 stars.

We had an easy check-in even though we reached the hotel at midnight, thanks to the courteous front office team, who had made arrangements for us. I stayed two nights in feb'23 with office colleagues from the UK and India on a business trip. The location is prime and the train station is easy to reach. Our room was very clean, and although we're foreigners, we had no trouble with the food. Breakfast was excellent. It was a pleasant stay overall.

The owner puts a lot of care and effort into making guests feel welcome, and the staff were kind and helpful. This hotel has been run by the family for three generations. My room was absolutely amazing, a wonderful stay!

The location was very quiet, the rooms were nice, and the food was quite good. But when the staff were tired, they'd shut the restaurant and bar and head home, even if it was still early.

The room was amazing, the food was very good, and the price was very reasonable. It's family run, and everyone was really friendly and welcoming. I stayed in room 311.
