Chalet Luis

It's a real shame that such a beautiful accommodation is in such a great location and had this experience. We arrived around 3 pm, but the front door code didn't work. It took us over an hour to reach the owner. When we finally did, he gave us a new code and we got in, only to find the house absolutely filthy from the previous tenants. There was underwear on the dining table, moldy food in the fridge, and used tissues and dirt everywhere. Two cleaning ladies arrived half an hour later and cleaned very thoroughly for almost an hour. We waited about 2.5 hours in total before we could finally get inside. The owner was also committing a crime by having video surveillance of the pool area without warning signs. Even with signs, only hallways and entrances are allowed to be monitored indoors. He should be glad we didn't report him. Hopefully he will sooner or later.

We arrived at 11:45 pm as agreed, but the door code wouldn't work and we couldn't reach anyone by phone. We ended up spending the night in the car with the engine running in -15°C. Thank goodness we were all adults, since it would've been an even bigger disaster with a family. We got a refund, though not a full one. What I found unacceptable was that nobody apologized. That's why I rated it this way.

The location near the ski lift was good, but the stay had a lot of problems. We booked for two days and found no heating in the bathroom. It was freezing, and showering in that weather was a real ordeal. We contacted the landlord but still haven't had a reply, and couldn't reach them by phone despite several attempts. The room was only moderately clean, with dust everywhere. The heating system was leaking, the beds were extremely worn out, and cables were hanging out of the walls all over the place, so be careful with children.

Very dirty, and the internet didn't work. The beautiful views were the one plus. I don't recommend it.
