We’ve stayed here many times on our Belgium-to-Croatia trips, and it’s easily our favorite stop. The host family is so friendly and professional, and the hotel is lovely, with top rooms and breakfast. It’s under 1 km from the highway and has a small campsite for tents and caravans. The large parking area is handy with our trailer and boat. We’d strongly recommend it and hope to keep coming back.

The scenery is breathtaking, and the bus stop right in front of the Pension is convenient, with buses running on time. Everything was clean and well organized, and the hosts were polite and supportive. We were traveling in a motor home and found it an excellent base for reaching the Katschberg slopes. Go see for yourself!

We came for skiing, with several large ski slopes within 50 km. The guesthouse has a huge heated room for ski gear. Even though the hotel was full, breakfast and dinner didn’t feel crowded because there are separate dining areas. It’s nicely renovated, and the service was very polite and friendly.

We pulled in with our caravan attached to charge the electric car and have lunch. The food was really good, and the owner was very friendly. The charging area is laid out thoughtfully for caravans.

The view is great, and the camping area stays quiet enough that you don’t hear the highway. The toilets and showers feel luxurious. They also have chargers for electric cars, including the fast CCS ones.
