Pfahlbau Rust/Neusiedlersee

We spent two nights in the Robinson cabin and had a wonderful stay. The clean cabin had everything we needed, and the owner was attentive and helpful. It was still quite empty at the resort in April, so we really enjoyed the quiet. The boat that came with the cabin and the beautiful starry sky were highlights.

We had some wonderful days in a lovely lakeside cabin, enjoying the nature around us. The cabin sits beautifully among the reeds, and even walking out to it is impressive. It was spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard. Taking the pedal boat out to explore was great fun. The owner is a Superhost!

The landlord was very accommodating, even though we booked spontaneously. The stilt house is clean, peaceful, and has everything you could need. It’s near Rust and easy to reach on foot. Staying in such a romantic, quiet place was a wonderful experience, and taking the boat through the reeds was lovely and well worth doing.

The wildlife can be watched right from the terrace, and even the very shy birds come close to the cabin. There’s nothing missing in terms of luxury. We’ve stayed in the stilt house twice now and enjoyed it so much again. It’s completely secluded, surrounded by nature, and wonderfully silent, just the kind of quiet you long for. You can explore through the reeds in the house’s own electric boat. We’d love to return to Rust and see the exceptionally friendly host again.
