Amazing Apartment in Saalbach With Sauna, Wifi and 1 Bedrooms

We spent 12 days here as a family of four and really enjoyed it. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were accommodating, helping us move to another room when we asked. Breakfast was exceptional. It’s a short walk to ski down to a chairlift and the other gondolas. We’d stay again next year if a room is available.

The route into town is a bit awkward, and the quickest shortcut down is so steep you could easily slip. Aside from that, this was a great base for skiing. The slopes are a two-minute walk away, and the balcony has amazing views. Rooms are cosy and sleek, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and both dinner and the buffet breakfast were delicious. Breakfast is relatively small but has everything you might want, whether you’re eating quickly or taking your time. The chocolate muffins were especially good. The ski room is handy, with roomy lockers for each apartment, and the heated pool is lovely in the snow, though it could be a little warmer. Having a sauna in the room was a nice extra. If you’re staying here, I’d definitely rent skis and gear from Bründl. You get 10% off, can take the shuttle there and back, and at week’s end leave the gear in the designated area beside the ski room for it to be returned to the shop. I’d recommend this place for a family, friends, or solo ski trip, and it’s probably just as nice in summer.

Our apartment had a great view and was spotless, and the location made it easy to get to the slopes. We’ve just come back from a week at Alpenparks Sonnleiten and had a relaxing, lovely holiday. We love returning to Sonnleiten in Saalbach, where our family has stayed since the new building was finished. It works especially well for families: there’s a spacious, cosy living room for time together, a well equipped kitchen, and separate bedrooms so everyone has some privacy. After skiing, we can relax in the sauna while the children use the outdoor pool. The ski and helmet room, with drying facilities, is very practical. The slopes are a short walk away, and you can set off from the house for a full ski circuit or go straight to the beginner slopes. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and breakfast has something for everyone. We highly recommend Sonnleiten and are looking forward to coming back.
