Horrible!!! I stayed here in December, then after I got home I realized I'd taken the wrong pair of ski boots by mistake. I contacted the hotel right away, and they confirmed they still had my boots and promised to send them back. I readily agreed to pay the shipping. I sent the incorrect boots to their owner at my own expense, keeping my side of the arrangement completely. After that, the hotel kept saying my boots would be sent “soon” for weeks, then stopped responding altogether. They don't answer messages or the phone. It's now nearly March, almost three months since I first got in touch, and I still haven't got my expensive boots back. The lack of professionalism, accountability and basic honesty is shocking. I can only conclude they don't intend to return my property. Be very careful if you value your belongings. If you leave something behind, don't expect it to be handled responsibly. Absolutely unacceptable.

A really good stay, especially for the price. The location is handy for hikes like Seven Summits, and the Joker card was included free. Staff were kind and friendly. Guests can use three types of sauna, and breakfast was good, including gluten-free buns. We could check in at 11 pm. The only drawback was that the bed mattresses were a bit uncomfortable.

The cleaning staff were amazing, the manager was resourceful and the rest of the team were very chatty. Breakfast was fantastic and everyone was friendly and helpful. The bar felt dull, though I blame the pandemic for that. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely visit again.

The bedrooms were comfortable and very clean, and there were lots of tasty food choices. The location was perfect, and all the staff were friendly, kind and helpful. Incredible hotel. I'd highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

A few of the dining staff were especially helpful, and they were the reason this didn't get zero stars. When we arrived, the manager from the hotel opposite checked us in as arranged. Later, when we came down for dinner and met the Danish manager for the first time, he was rude and insisted we hadn't booked half board. We had to argue and get email confirmation from the UK company we'd booked through to prove it. After that was sorted, he was rude again one day when we'd forgotten to submit our evening meal choices. For much of the holiday, it seemed the season was ending and many staff didn't want to be there. Our room was very poorly cleaned, and the floor was never brushed or mopped.
