Breakfast alone makes Grand Pension Franziska memorable: an impressive spread of homemade food and quality regional ingredients, beautifully presented and full of flavour. It was honestly better than breakfast at many five-star hotels. The whole house is beautiful, with thoughtful design and detail throughout the rooms, sauna, and dining area. It feels elegant and cosy at the same time, and I felt at home as soon as I walked in. The owners are warm, kind, and genuinely caring. They're always approachable and helpful, and make you feel so welcome. Grand Pension Franziska is the kind of place you remember and want to return to. Highly recommended.

The service was impeccable, and the sauna, roaring fireplace, and beautiful mountain views made it feel like a five-star snowy hideaway. It's perfectly placed for ski-in and ski-out access.

The rooms were amazing, comfortable, and clean, and the owners were so friendly with us. I spent a whole week there with the box programming and had a wonderful time. The pension is cool and nicely decorated, and the food was delicious. There's a gym just across from it, with really nice views. My only complaint is that you have to pay for water at dinner. I understand paying for other drinks, but charging for water doesn't make sense to me. Apart from that, everything was perfect. I'd definitely recommend it. For our honeymoon, we couldn't have asked for a more welcoming stay. Ludwig and Evy have made a beautiful, elevated bed and breakfast that still feels like home, and they go above and beyond for their guests. The beds were the most comfortable we slept in anywhere in Europe, maybe even the world! If you want somewhere with more heart and soul than a traditional hotel, I'd highly recommend it. Hope to see you guys in Australia soon!

Evy and Ludwig are such caring, lovely hosts. They take care of every little detail and make you feel at home. We can highly recommend Pension Franziska and will definitely be back soon. The sustainability efforts are clear throughout: breakfast includes homemade or locally sourced products, there are green facades inside and out, and guests who arrive by public transport get a 10% room discount. Breakfast was superb, the beds comfy, and the sauna was a lovely place to unwind while looking out at the peaceful forest. There's also a well-equipped gym across from the hotel for anyone wanting to stay active.
