The children especially loved spending time with the farm animals, and the hosts were genuinely welcoming and made a point of involving them. We first stayed at Thomanhof for 10 days last December, and this second visit was just as enjoyable. The apartment is practical, modern, well equipped, and comfortable, with excellent beds and a good shower. Everything is well maintained, and the bread delivery is a thoughtful extra that makes for a nice start to the day. It's a well-run place, and we'd happily return.

Thomanhof is a handy base for all the activities in the area. Our apartment was roomy, clean, and nicely decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking our own meals easy. We especially loved the rain shower. The Breitfuss family were friendly and helpful, and had made a lovely place to spend time. There are animals, a beautiful garden, a swimming pond, and a play field for the kids. Parking, bike lending or hiring, and rubbish disposal are all well taken care of. Indoors, there's a shared room for board games, plus a billiards and air hockey room for rainy days. The farm also has a roomy sauna and an infrared cabin.

The family's service was great. They even picked up our ski passes for us, and the spa was a lovely bonus. The apartment was big and very clean. We had an amazing stay and recommend Thomanhof to anyone looking for a great place.
