Hapimag Resort Salzburg

We had a spacious room with a little kitchen and seating area, which worked well for our city visit. The front desk also sells snacks and a small selection of food, which came in handy. Both the reception team and housekeeping were very friendly. It’s right in the heart of Salzburg, a great place to stay if you want to explore.

The old building has plenty of stairs, so be aware of that. Also, the first floor in Europe is the lobby, which meant our room was on the fifth floor. We had a great time, though. We were only steps from the square, about a 10-minute walk from Mirabell gardens, and close to bus stops, restaurants, and shops. We walked to all the sights.

The setting is lovely, up on a hill with spectacular views. You can call a cab if you don’t want to walk down into town. Salzburg is about a half-hour walk away, while the Museum of Modern Art elevator is a shorter walk, though it costs extra. Breakfast was the only meal and was plentiful and nicely presented. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with what you need, though they aren’t luxurious.

We were really happy with our choice for Salzburg. The place is clean, modern, and centrally located. Before we arrived, they replied quickly to our questions about laundry, and there’s a small washer and dryer, which was a nice bonus. We’d choose to stay here again.
