At over 160 euros a night, you’ll have to decide for yourself if it’s good value. One room hadn’t been cleaned properly, with hairs on both a pillow and a bedsheet. There’s no coffee maker or kettle in the rooms either. For hot water and instant coffee, you have to go to the sitting room on the first floor of the main house.

The walls and floors are so thin that getting any rest seems unlikely. My room was apparently right beside the washing machine. At 2 a.m. the bed started shaking, and the machine’s whirring kept me awake. The location is okay, but the rooms feel incredibly cramped even if you’re slim.

My room was clean and neat, with a view, and the staff were friendly. The air conditioning worked well from the wall remote, and the bathroom was clean. The shower was decent, though it took a while for the water to get hot. I was only there one night. My section was on the third floor behind another door, and guests kept slamming it late at night and early in the morning. My room was furthest away, but I could still hear it, which got annoying.

There are several restaurants and supermarkets within a five-minute walk. It’s an affordable hotel, not too far from the city center and old town. If you’re driving, the parking lot is available for an extra fee of 16€ per day.
