Das MOOSER Hotel

The spa is a real standout, and the rooms have an elegant design. Staff are impeccable, with a lovely family-run feel alongside the luxury of an established hotel. You can ski straight in and out, and the après-ski scene is lively if you want to join in, but easy to enjoy at your own pace.

It costs a bit, but I think the price makes sense if this is where you want to stay. The hotel sits right among the Sankt Anton slopes, so getting out to ski each day is wonderfully easy. Rooms are a good size, very clean, and have comfortable beds. The staff are kind and always available, and breakfast is great. Mooserwirt, one of Austria's best après-ski spots in my view, is just two floors up in the same building. What more could you ask for? Close to perfect.

After skiing straight in from the slopes, the heated outdoor pool is such a treat. The spa is calm, clean, well equipped, and spacious enough to feel much larger than the ones in other hotels, while still feeling relaxing and homey. We come every year, and the caring, friendly service always helps make the stay relaxing and delightful. There's even an underground garage with a car wash and a lift for the car. Breakfast has everything you could want, and dinner is well cooked. For a bit of wild fun, go through the secret door to The Mooserwirt, one of the best-known après-ski bars.

Can't wait to return. The food is among the best on the Arlberg, and you get some of the finest views of St. Anton while you eat. Service is both professional and friendly.
