Hotel Grieshof

The meals were a real highlight. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including eggs cooked to order, and the strong coffee was just what I needed. Dinner was so good for the price, and the wine list had options for everyone. The team were friendly from the moment we arrived, always helpful without hovering. We had a three-night winter sports weekend with a big group of friends, and the hotel was handy for both the main lifts and Main Street. My room, 229, was spacious, with a sunny balcony and a modern, well-equipped bathroom. The rooms were cosy and well kept. There’s a pool and wellness area, plus a roomy ski storage space, a big boot dryer, and an easy way in and out without going through the hotel. The lounge and bar were comfortable, and staff could bring coffee, soft drinks, beer or schnapps. I’ll definitely be back.

Late March gave us mostly sunny, cold days and uncrowded slopes, though I missed the blizzards I prefer. Herbert and the crew put in a lovely effort for us as vegans, with lots of vegetables to choose from. I loved the grilled cauliflower steaks so much I asked for them every night, and the chef was happy to make them. Alber’s made it easy to check in, rent skis, and store gear in heated boxes, with the shop right by the lifts. If you can’t have a good time in St Anton, something’s wrong. Thanks again, Hotel Greishof.

The spa was perfect, the rooms lovely, and the food unreal. The staff were amazing too. Best place in St Anton. We wish we could afford to come this year, maybe next time!

We had a wonderful family week over New Years. The Deluxe double rooms were roomy, and the Jr Suite was bigger still. We liked spending evenings at the bar and gathering in the seating areas by the fireplace. Dinner was very good, with three options each night. Getting around was easy: they picked us and our luggage up from the train station, and the main gondolas were a short walk away. We also rented ski lockers by the base, though the hotel has a boot and ski room too.
