Haus Enzian

Christian was a good host, and I’d happily stay at Haus Enzian again. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a generous breakfast and plenty to eat. There’s space for skis and boots, though the free storage at intersport by the base of the Galzigbahn cable car is a better option.

Christian was friendly and helpful all week, and the ski depot being included was a nice surprise. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, with good beds and a good shower. Breakfast was simple but just right :)

I’d never had this kind of “hospitality” before. We stayed for a week as a family in a very clean, well-equipped guesthouse, but the host’s attitude spoiled the experience. We booked a 50-square-meter apartment with a kitchen, sofa, and large dining table, which seemed ideal for dinners with friends. On the first day, which was my birthday, the host said we couldn’t invite anyone over. It ruined the mood that day and for the rest of our stay. He didn’t even say a simple happy birthday. A few days later, he complained that the kitchen had been messy one day. We’d cooked food for a baby and hadn’t had time to clean up, but I don’t think what happens in the kitchen during our stay is his business. On the last day, we cleaned the apartment better than it had been when we arrived, even though the cleaning fee was included in the price. We were afraid of the host, so I asked him to check everything and tell us if we could leave. He just said, “you can go,” without saying goodbye or wishing us a good trip. I wish someone had shared honest feedback about this place before we booked. We would have chosen more wisely and stayed somewhere else.

The host was very friendly, the apartment was clean, and it was close to the city. We had a really nice stay, and breakfast was good too.
