Even with a difficult week and plans changing because of the weather, Johanna took care of us each day. She sorted our lift passes, taxis and restaurant bookings, and made a special effort to keep things organised. Thanks to Johanna and Thomas for looking after us so well. Staying at Pepis ski hotel really felt like home. The rooms were spacious, the beds super comfy, and the mountain views were beautiful. Michael kept us topped up at the bar and even put the rugby on for us, though that didn’t help the score! I’d thoroughly recommend staying here if you’re visiting St Anton.

Johanna at reception and concierge really made the stay comfortable. She listened to what we needed, came up with great suggestions and booked restaurants for us. The place is incredibly central, within easy walking distance of the train station, lifts, restaurants and bars, which is its main draw. Ski hire and ski and boot storage are inside the building, reached by lifts, so it’s easy and convenient. Breakfast was nice, though the welcome there wasn’t especially friendly. Our first room was near the noisy kitchen, so we moved to a quieter one overlooking town and the slopes, which was wonderful. The rooms are modern and minimalist, with minimal amenities and some questionable art. I found the beds hard, the pillow options limited, and kept overheating.

The ski rental is conveniently on the ground floor, and the location is great, right by the lifts and the town atmosphere. I stayed at Pepis Skihotel over Christmas with my two boys, and we had a really good time. The staff gave us wonderful personal attention. Thomas made sure we felt at home and his service was impeccable, even before we arrived. Michael at the bar was one of the nicest people we’ve met, and the rest of the team did a great job too.

I’ve been coming back to Pepis since 2009 and love it. The location is perfect, close to the lifts, and there’s a great ski rental and shop downstairs. The staff are wonderful, know their stuff, and are always happy to help.

Pepi’s stood out for the personal, thoughtful service. Staff were quick and friendly with advice on transfers and ski runs, and they arranged dinner reservations with a smile. From the second day, macchiatos arrived without us needing to ask. The room was large, clean, modern and well equipped, with plenty of storage. It kept out noise and held a comfortable temperature, so we slept well without noticing what was going on around us. Breakfast was generous, fresh and delicious, and the coffee was great. The location was ideal, just metres from the three main lifts, with a huge ski hire and equipment shop in the building. The best of St Anton for food and shopping was also a short walk away. Hard to fault the stay.
