We had a great week here in late February 2018. The hotel sits a little outside the main town, but there’s a free dedicated shuttle running from 8am to 8pm, and the location is excellent. The staff that year were fantastic. It’s an older hotel and shows its age in places. Apparently a full revamp was due for 2018/19, but that wouldn’t put me off staying now.

The staff were kind and had a good sense of humor. Rooms were clean, and the price matched the quality well.

The coffee machine was replaced a few days into our holiday, thankfully. If it had worked every day, this would have been a five-point stay.
