Reselehof

It feels like coming home after a long day, and that’s why this wasn’t our first visit and won’t be our last. The owners, Marie and Gunnar, are such welcoming hosts and make you feel at ease. Breakfast is nicely presented, and a good coffee is just the boost you need before skiing. The hotel is very close to a large lift that takes you up into the heart of Arlberg, and the facilities are great. They’re always happy to give a little extra care. Just watch out for Gunnar’s jokes, he’ll get you by the nose :)

Gunnar, the legend who invented apres ski, and his lovely wife Maria run the hotel really well. It’s very clean, the staff are helpful, and the sauna is nice. The big lift is close by. Breakfast is simple, but has the best things.

I found the owners incredibly rude too. I emailed to ask if they had any vacancies for our dates in St Anton. Apparently you have to send a reservation request by email, since they don’t have online booking. Instead of simply saying they had no availability, they told me my dates were impossible and that if I couldn’t understand why, I’d have to “figure it out myself.” I couldn’t believe they’d say that unless they meant to offend me. My dates were possible. I know because I booked another hotel.

The rooms were okay, and the sauna and resting area were nice, though there’s no hammam. Breakfast could be better. The ski lifts are close by.
