The breakfast was delicious, with lots of variety, and the hosts were wonderful. The rooms are a fantastic blend of classic Tyrol and modern style. The bathroom is ultra-modern, with a heated floor and a shower that’s almost a religious experience. Loved staying here, highly recommend!

Even after we asked for more heat, the owner came to our room shouting at 12:30 at night. The room was cold, and despite paying over $500 for one night, we couldn't control the temperature. My mother had to sleep in her ski clothes. The owners treated us terribly, and one said my mother needed medical treatment. What crazy people run this hotel.

We stopped here on our way to Italy, and Hotel am Dorfplatz was just right for the break. Our host was lovely, the room was spacious, bright, airy, and comfortable, and there was parking outside. St. Anton am Arlberg is beautiful in both summer and winter, so this seems like a good place to stay in either season.

Breakfast was a treat, with lots of fruit, bread, cheeses, cakes, juices, and other choices. They’ll also make eggs how you like them. The pretty breakfast room and the lovely ceramics they use made the meal feel even nicer. Karin and Peter are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful, and it feels a bit like coming home. The staff were just as welcoming, from the breakfast team to the cleaning ladies, who left our rooms spotless every day. It’s a small boutique hotel, maybe nine or ten rooms, but ours felt more like a suite than a standard hotel room. The bathrooms are modern and nicely finished, and both the heating and hot water worked perfectly. Karin has such good taste. The entrance, bedrooms, breakfast room, stairs, corridors, and even the ski room downstairs are decorated with beautiful details. You almost want to spend the day inside. The hotel is right in the center of town, but on a quiet street, so we slept well. They also have an arrangement with a ski shop where you can store your skis for free instead of carrying them back to the hotel. I loved the place and can’t wait to return to St Anton next year.
