We had a very good stay and would come back. Our room had been renovated in the last few years, and it was comfortable, clean, and had comfortable beds. The wellness area was great and also renovated, with a Finnish sauna around 90 degrees, a 65-degree biosauna, a wet sauna, and plenty of room to rest. We booked half board and found both breakfast and dinner very good, with more than enough food. I'd read reviews complaining about the food or portion sizes, but perhaps things have changed since then. Reception and restaurant staff were friendly, quick, and attentive. There was a private locker for our ski gear. The hotel is quiet, but just a five-minute walk from the main street's restaurants and bars. Billa is 30 seconds from the entrance, and the free ski bus stop is about the same distance. Line B gets you to Penken quicker, line A goes to Ahorn, and changing buses lets you reach Hintertux in 40-45 minutes. No need to drive.

We only needed one night because our usual accommodation was full, but we were warmly welcomed. Our 9-month-old already had a bed set up, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good.

The beds weren't very comfortable for me, though the rooms are well built and everything was very clean. Food was good, service was very good, and the sauna area was amazing. In the evening you can go to the bar or invite friends over, which is quite nice.

The New Year's Gala dinner was first class, and the boot room was top quality. We also enjoyed the lovely food and the beautiful wellness suite, with great staff throughout. Our room had a very modern bathroom, but the rest of the bedroom felt quite outdated. It would be good if all the rooms had the same high standard of finish.

We got good value for money, especially with the half-board option. Breakfast had a nice selection, and the dinners were amazing, with plenty of variety through the week. The room was modern and clean, with a very nice bathroom. Staff were friendly and service minded. The location worked perfectly for us, about five minutes on foot from Mayrhofen Bahnhof and ten from Penken Bahn. The ski room was handy too, with a separate locker for every room.
