We had a lovely stay, with direct access to the slopes from the ski room making the location especially easy for skiing. The spa and sauna were superb, spotless, hot and very well maintained, just right for relaxing after a day out. The hotel staff were thoughtful and understated throughout. The cleaning staff were exceptional: our rooms were immaculate and beautifully arranged each day, with clothes folded and every detail taken care of. Breakfast was divine. We had our own table each morning in an exquisite setting, and the food was consistently delicious. The hostess was charming and attentive without being overbearing, remembered what we liked, and made excellent eggs. The hotel’s atmosphere is what really stays with me. It’s clearly family-run, and the staff’s warmth and openness felt genuine. The Tyrol Austrian architecture and craftsmanship give it a real sense of place and style. The friendly, social and attentive people bring heart to the experience without making it feel forced. From arrival, the stay felt personal, thoughtful and welcoming. It’s a truly memorable place, and we’d happily return.

Our hostess made us feel at home, always cheerful, kind, and ready to help. We’re especially grateful to her. The stay itself was very comfortable in this elegant, high-quality boutique hotel, where the thoughtful details made the whole place feel calming. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it.

Being able to ski right back to the door, drop our gear in the ski room, and head straight to BaseCamp for apres ski was a real treat. BaseCamp is our favorite place in all of St. Anton, and the hotel’s location by the slopes is hard to beat. We had a car and appreciated the dry parking garage, especially on snowy days. It’s small, so sometimes cars or service vehicles had to be shuffled around, but whenever we asked, moving them was no problem. We stayed in the Rosengarten room. It’s on the lowest floor, with direct access to the ski room, garage, and slopes. The window faces the driveway and parking lot rather than a scenic view, but we could still check the weather and didn’t mind. It’s beside the staff room, so there was some early morning noise. Closing the bathroom door helped, and it wasn’t an issue for us. After skiing, the room was spotlessly made up every day. The hotel has an authentic Austrian feel, from the decorations to the Dirdnl worn by the breakfast staff. I’d seen complaints that some staff didn’t speak English, but for us that added to the authentic atmosphere. Klaus and Johanna were lovely and personable. Klaus always stopped for a chat, and Johanna was easy to reach and quick to answer questions. When we asked about laundry, a basket appeared in our room that day and the clothes were done by the next morning. Breakfast staff remembered our orders, and we had a great stay. We’d stayed in an airbnb the year before, but we’ll always stay here from now on. My only complaint is that we had to leave. We can’t wait to return. Danke, Klaus & Johanna, we’re looking forward to our next stay!

The staff made our stay special, from greeting us in traditional durndls to remembering our breakfast drinks each day. They even set up a lovely birthday table for my son and brought out a cake with a candle. We had two rooms, both spacious and comfortable. Our suite was in the tower, with a round bed that turned to face the valley view. The hotel sits right below the Galzig gondola and Gampenbahn chairlift, at the bottom of the slopes, and it’s only a short walk to the village centre. Basecamp, the hotel’s lively apres bar, can be noisy, though it quiets down around 8pm. If you want to be close to everything, this is a lovely Austrian gem. We had an amazing trip and I’d recommend staying here.

The family are wonderfully hospitable and have made a beautiful place that feels cozy and private while still being luxurious. We stayed for a week over New Year’s Eve, and the hotel was ideally placed for both skiing and exploring St Anton. The family also owns the neighbouring Basecamp, a handy spot for food or a few drinks after a long day on the slopes. I’d highly recommend staying here.
