The included breakfast was among the best I’ve had anywhere, and I’ve been to 45+ countries. This was a top of the class stay from beginning to end. It was my first time in a hotel built specifically for a great skiing experience, and I’m not sure I can go back to the usual kind of accommodation. The essentials in the room are all done right. After long days on the slopes, there’s a high-pressure rain shower, a super comfortable bed, a stocked minibar, a heated towel rack for drying the odd bits, and an amazing smell as soon as you walk in. Thomas, the owner, is a master of his craft, and arrival was warm, welcoming and incredibly efficient. Just don’t mistake it for a spa, there’s no fluff. Getting out for the day and coming back after an epic run is easy, thanks to the dedicated ski room with boot and glove warmers and direct slope access. If you want to ride on checkout day, there’s a dedicated bathroom and shower to get ready before wrapping up the trip. It sits on a small hill overlooking town, between two après-ski spots, with a gentle slide down the hill to the main gondola. I can’t imagine a better location. If you’re choosing between this place and somewhere else, choose this one.

We came for a ski holiday and found the hotel beautiful, clean and welcoming. The staff were helpful, and the little gifts and thoughtful touches were a nice extra. Our spacious, bright room had a sofa, table and chairs for aperitifs. It’s well located and easy to reach by car, bus or on foot from the village. Breakfast buffet was really good, and coffee was available free all day. A ski room with a heated, lockable locker is provided at no charge. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

We’ve been coming to this fantastic hotel for our St Anton trip for 8 years. Thomas and his staff have always looked after us, and we’re heading back next week. Can’t wait! It’s clean, modern and in a great position.

We stayed three nights in January 2022. The service was fantastic, and the room was high quality and spotless. Breakfast and location were great too. From the town centre, it’s a five-minute bus ride and then a short five-minute walk to the hotel. You can simply walk down the ski slope to get to the town centre. Thanks to the Schweiger hotel team for a great stay.
