Pension Sonnenhang

We felt completely at ease at Sonnenhang and would love to return. We decided on a spontaneous hiking trip in Montafon, and the accommodation immediately felt like a little home away from home. Markus and Daniela were so warm and welcoming, and their care for the house came through in everything. They were always around for tips, a chat, or just a smile. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, just right to start the day. The daily happy hour with the hosts was a highlight, a lovely way to wind down and meet other guests. It feels like a beautiful, authentic place.

The people behind the place are what made it special: the hosts were warm, genuine, and clearly passionate about what they do. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The modern, stylish rooms have lots of thoughtful details, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. The individually prepared egg dishes were a highlight, as was the idea of letting everyone choose their own bread rolls so none goes to waste. The sauna was great for relaxing and rounded out the wellness experience. Thanks for a holiday we'll remember for a long time. Highly recommended, and we'll be back!

We stayed for two nights and definitely plan to return. The welcoming atmosphere was friendly, personal, and family-like. Our modern room was comfortable and very clean, and everything showed care in the details. The sauna and relaxation room are small but just right for the number of guests, with complimentary tea available. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and Daniela and Markus looked after every request. During the day you can make coffee or tea in the breakfast room and get other drinks for a small fee. In the evening, guests can unwind together for an hour over a complimentary drink.
