I had the best time on my six-day coach tour stay here. The owner Karl and the staff were always ready to help, and Albin, our waiter, deserves a special thanks for being so wonderful and funny. The bed was comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. It’s a great spot in a lovely little town. I’d recommend it.

The food was excellent, the rooms were spotless, and the staff were fantastic. My husband became ill on our first day with the tour group and had to go to hospital. The owner Karl arranged the medical team and picked up his prescription for us. Thank you all so much. He’s feeling much better now.

I travelled alone and everyone was incredibly helpful. The food was amazing, and the WiFi worked perfectly. There’s a train right nearby that takes you to the Attersee and connects with the Salzburg to Vienna line. I also took a day trip to Hallstatt. A hidden gem of a hotel for tourists in this area.

The single room I got on my tour was clean and had modern bathroom fittings, but it was cramped. The bed was narrow and pushed against the wall, which I kept bumping into. The bathroom was tiny, and the toilet had an odd shelf that gave you a very clear view of what was inside. There are some lovely local shops around, though they close early, so check the hours.

It’s in a very quiet, tiny town, with one main shopping street and church bells that ring at 6am. I found it an ideal base. Dinner was good home-style cooking, and breakfast was the usual continental kind. I enjoyed my stay a lot.
