The surroundings are beautiful, and the Waldruh apartment was certainly okay, but we didn't feel welcome or at home. We barely had contact with the owners, who don't live there. Other guests were staying too, but we didn't see them. We stayed almost two weeks. The son greeted us, showed us around, and gave us vacation tips. He said his father would stop by that day or the next to have a drink with us, but he never did. We only saw the owners when collecting our guest card and, a few days before leaving, to settle the bill. On our last evening, the owner came rather forcefully asking for proof of payment, saying, "I need it now." We'd paid the deposit right after booking and planned to transfer the balance using the computer. Surely he could've asked in a different way. I also find it unacceptable for owners to enter while you're away on a day trip. That's never happened at any of our other accommodations. Towels could've been left at the door, since the hallway was spacious enough. I have nothing to hide, but I want my privacy respected. It was good for one visit, but we won't be back.

The snow and slopes were perfect, and we had another wonderful week. We were very relaxed, and the apartment was impeccably clean and tidy. The Hauser family were very pleasant hosts and made us feel welcome. Their help during our medical emergency was essential and very helpful. Thank you for that too. We'd love to come back again.

We've stayed several times and will definitely return. The Defereggen Valley deserves more than one holiday. The owners are exceptionally kind and helpful. Their tastefully furnished house sits in a green meadow, and the ground-floor apartment opens straight onto the garden, a lovely place for breakfast outside. The bread delivery service works flawlessly. It's an ideal spot to find peace and recharge.

Landhaus Kaulfuß sits among alpine meadows with mountain views. The apartment has a special flair and charming furnishings, with everything needed for daily life. We got a warm welcome, including a delicious Tyrolean schnapps. The lovely landscaped garden is a cozy place to relax in the evenings, and the hosts are welcoming and always happy to help. Thanks for a wonderful holiday. We'd love to return! ☀️☺️

The generously furnished apartment was spotlessly clean and full of natural light. I personally recommend the bedroom at the back for its wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. The country house feels like a little paradise within the bigger paradise of the East Tyrolean Alps. Everything was perfect, from the punctual bread delivery to the Hauser family's warm hospitality. If you want a truly relaxing holiday, I highly recommend this fantastic apartment owned by the Hauser family.
