The rooms are past today's standards, but ours was clean and the balcony was really cozy. For what you get in services and amenities, the price feels justified. The lakeside beach, friendly staff, and perfect breakfast all helped make us feel at home. We'd be happy to return.

I've stayed at fancier hotels, but this one feels just right, and it's only five minutes on foot from the lake. The beach is lovely and relaxing, and the owner is a gem who sees to every wish straight away. The hospitality and warmth feel typical of southern Carinthia. For the price, I'd say it compares well with a four-star hotel. I know Lake Klopein well and, as someone who travels often, can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Update 2020: still giving it five stars. The weather just wasn't quite perfect this year 🤷‍♂️. The private beach is lovely, and the staff are friendly. It's also very convenient that they have apartments with breakfast as well as rooms. Good value for money.

This is a lively resort, centrally placed on one of the area's many lakes. Our rooms were clean, and swimmers can use loungers, umbrellas, mattresses, and tubes on the pier. The staff don't speak much English, but we managed to understand each other without a problem.
