I’ve stayed there three times, and the rooms are clean and the pension is in a very good location. Still, each visit left me feeling unwelcome, so I won’t return. The owner’s daughter never smiles. Whenever I tried to say something, she looked at me as if to ask what I wanted. Her mother was the only one who smiled. The website says there’s a sauna, but you have to tell them a day ahead if you want to use it. How was I supposed to know that? Why is it such a problem to keep it heated each day and put up a note saying it’s ready? The website also says Einzelzimmerzuschlag (Singles sind herzlich willkommen!). Before my last visit, I wrote twice to say I’d be there alone. They hadn’t read the whole email. The daughter seemed to think I’d told her too late, and the mother started saying it wasn’t good for them. Why say that on the website? It felt like another lie. All three stays were more or less the same. Maybe the place isn’t bad overall, but I felt that I, or we, weren’t welcome.

The staff were very willing to help, and it’s a perfect base for skiing.

Breakfast was very good, and the location was good too.

The price felt absolutely reasonable, and from some rooms the mountain views were fantastic. The room itself was clean and tidy, breakfast was very good, and the service was super friendly. They use a modern card lock for both the main entrance and the rooms.
