Landhaus Edelweiss

The four-course dinner was fantastic. I told Arjan he could compete for a Michelin star, which says it all. Breakfast had a good range of choices, and our room and bathroom were very clean and properly heated despite the freezing weather. It's an excellent small family-run hotel, just about 50 meters from the skibus stop. There's also a covered garage with space for around 8-9 cars, on a first come, first served basis. If you get a spot, you won't have to clear 50 cm of fresh snow off your car after three days.

The owners are very nice, and the hotel is conveniently close to the bus stop, with the slopes just one bus stop away. Our apartment was clean, modern, and spacious. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choices, and when we ate dinner at the restaurant, there was more than we could finish.

We were at Landhaus Edelweiss over Christmas week, just minutes from a lovely ski area. Snow conditions elsewhere in Austria weren't the best, but the glacier meant we had great skiing. That may be why many pro teams come here to train. The half-board was excellent and very convenient after a day in the mountains. Arjan is a top-tier chef and prepared fabulous food. Our room was practical and spotlessly clean, and Laura and Arjan were lovely hosts. The staff were always friendly and smiling. The whole place feels warm, homely, and cozy. We'll be back for sure.

I stayed with my family, and everything was perfect. As a vegan, I felt really seen: the chef went out of his way to make me a special breakfast bowl and even offered to prepare a meal for me in the evening. Amazing service.
