The location beside the ski lift is great, and the rooms are large, but I wouldn’t book this hotel myself after staying as part of a package trip. My emails and calls asking to extend the booking went unanswered, so we changed hotels during our holiday. The food was okay, but below what I’d expect for the price, and the Wi-Fi only reached half the room. The room includes use of the village beginner ski lift, which could be useful if you’re new to skiing. If you won’t use that much, there are better-value options nearby.

The restaurant and bar staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was nicely cooked. There’s a good play area for younger children and the Wi-Fi works well. It’s a pleasant, very typically Austrian hotel, conveniently close to the gondola up to the Riffelsee skiarea and to the ski bus. The hotel can also help book things like a sleigh ride.

The nearby lift takes you up the mountains, and there’s a bus to the glacier as well as a ski area close by. You can ski back from all the ski areas. A great place to stay.
