The modern feel was nice, but our stay in the Heublume&Zirbenholz rooms was less comfortable than we expected. For a place presented as a zen retreat, the rigid rules felt constraining. Customer orientation and bathroom quality both have plenty of room to improve. Our review might have been more favorable in different rooms. Claudia, one of the hosts, was really kind. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The spa was nice, the balcony views were beautiful, and we received discount cards for tourist attractions. Breakfast was decent, with excellent eggs and bacon, though when I made coffee 15 minutes after breakfast time, I was told it would cost extra. The hosts don’t speak English, and the wifi was poor. There was no privacy in the bathroom: the glass door was see-through and let light through, which woke you up. Some rooms have curtains around the glass door, but ours didn’t. My parents’ room next door had the same issue. The bathrooms also smelled of poor drainage. The entrance room’s light sensor woke me a few times each night when my partner went to the bathroom. The sauna was switched off exactly at 8.59pm while guests were still there, and of course nobody told us that would happen.

Anna and manfred made us feel so welcome, always kind and attentive, and the breakfast was far better than we expected, especially the eggs made fresh just the way we wanted. The hotel is peaceful, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful scenery, with a great base for exploring Salzburgland. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully designed, and the balcony view was amazing. We’ll definitely return for a longer stay and recommend it to others.

Manfred and Claudia were exceptionally helpful and nice. We slept wonderfully, and the sauna and wellness rooms made it easy to unwind. The hotel is quiet, with spacious, nicely decorated rooms and fabulous beds. We’d highly recommend it to adult couples looking for peace and relaxation.

Manfred and Claudia were the highlight of our stay, genuinely attentive to our comfort and doing their best to meet our needs and wishes. We’re already considering another visit. The Veilchen Suite was superb for our romantic getaway, with modern, well-furnished rooms and a perfect view. Everything was very clean, and breakfast was amazing. A thoroughly deserved five stars.

Claudia and Manfred were wonderfully welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. The house is beautiful and smells lovely, and breakfast was delicious, generous, and made with high-quality products. Both saunas were great. We’ll book Landhotel Anna again on our next vacation in the Salzkammergut region. Thank you for a perfect holiday!
